HOUSE OF VELVET CHAINS: THE SACRED HEART OF VELMARIA’S DOMINANT SPIRITUALITY

CLYMERE, VELMARIA – June 10, 1425 A.E. — Tucked between the gleaming marble towers of Velmaria’s capital lies one of the kingdom’s oldest and most revered institutions: the House of Velvet Chains. Part temple, part school, and part sanctum, this sacred structure is where discipline becomes devotion, and submission becomes sacred rite.

Established over four centuries ago by High Priestess Melathra the Unyielding, the House teaches that domination and submission are not merely social structures — but divine harmonies, echoing the eternal balance between order and chaos, body and will.

Every major city in Velmaria contains a Velvet House, but the Grand Temple of Clymere is the original — a towering spire wrapped in chains of pure silver, guarded by cloaked acolytes and echoing with whispered mantras of obedience and power.

“Here, power is not enforced — it is worshipped,” says Mistress-Orator Velexia, a priestess who has served for three decades. “We teach our disciples that to rule wisely, one must first master their own desires. And to serve truly, one must offer without ego.”

Structure and Ritual

The House is structured around the Three Pillars of Sacred Command:

Restraint of the Self – Teaching dominants to wield power without corruption.
Clarity of Voice – Instructing the art of giving clear, consensual commands.
Purity of Obedience – Elevating service to a spiritual act, freely offered.
