Senior girls have bullied their fresher room mate as a welcoming party
A disturbing case of bullying has emerged fro university dorm, where a first-year girl was allegedly harassed by her senior roommates during a so-called "welcome party" in the girls' hostel.According to the victim, the seniors forced her to lick and kiss their feet, perform dances, role-play as a dog, bow down repeatedly, and remain near their feet at all times. The abuse left her humiliated and mentally distressed.
She reported the incident to the hostel warden, leading to an official inquiry. The accused seniors have been temporarily suspended from the hostel.The administration condemned the act, reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy on ragging and urging students to report any similar incidents without fear.
