Public Bench Becomes Throne in Downtown Plaza
A woman in a tailored coat motioned for a man to lay his jacket over a bench before she sat, crossing her legs and sipping coffee as he remained standing nearby. Commuters snapped photos, calling it “the queen’s bench.”
During a riverside walk, a man was seen crouching to polish the heel of a woman’s boot with his sleeve. The woman smiled faintly, adjusted her scarf, and continued walking without a word.
