Authorities Investigate School Harassment Case in Guangdong Province
GUANGDONG — Local authorities have launched an investigation after reports surfaced of an incident involving several students at a secondary school earlier this week. According to officials, the situation involved alleged harassment among students and was captured in a short video that circulated online.
Police confirmed that the students involved have been identified and that counseling and disciplinary measures are underway. Education authorities have also announced a province-wide campaign promoting school safety, emotional awareness, and anti-bullying education.
“We are taking this case seriously,” said a spokesperson for the Guangdong Education Bureau. “Every student deserves a safe environment to study and grow. Our goal is to ensure incidents like this are prevented in the future.”
